The purpose of this draft Supplement is to describe the requirements, functional architecture and use cases of Internet of Things (IoT) based underground smart parking services (SUPS), aiming to enhance user experience and management efficiency in underground parking lots. Functional architecture of IoT-based SUPS is divided into four layers: device layer, network layer, support layer and application layer. Requirements of each layer and use cases of IoT-based SUPS are described.
