Summary:
|
The transition from traditional cities to Smart Cities poses new requirements for energy system. The reliability and cleanliness of energy can be regarded as significant indicators for evaluation and assessment of smart cities. These drives distributed energy storage (DES) serves as a crucial component of the new energy system in smart cities, supporting urban power peaking, ensuring energy reliability, promoting the utilization of renewable energy, and enhancing the cleanliness of urban energy structures.
The draft recommendation provides guidance for the design, development, and application of IoT-based DES management systems for smart cities, promoting the global development of distributed energy storage and supporting the construction of smart cities.
