This Recommendation provides a framework for achieving interoperability among diverse and autonomous Internet of things (IoT) services from different providers by detailing a process for device transition, discovery and management of information that includes data models, protocols and interfaces. It further emphasizes the need for cross-platform functionality to enable seamless interaction across various IoT service platforms, and integrates functional requirements, architectures and procedures to support this interworking.
