Summary: The aim of this work item is to develop a valid and reliable subjective test methodology appropriate for use with naïve subjects to evaluate the effects of multi-channel telecommunications systems and conditions on Overall Audio Quality. The recommendation will include a description of the rating scales used in the method plus descriptions of instructions and training for naïve subjects to perform the task(s) in the test method. The method will accommodate an appropriate number of test conditions and listeners.
