L'UIT est la principale source de publication d'informations sur les technologies, la réglementation et la normalisation dans le domaine des télécommunications. Elle a publié plus de 4'500 titres en version papier et le nombre de publications sur CD-ROM, sur DVD et en ligne ne cesse d'augmenter.


Secrétariat général et ITU TELECOM
  

Le Secrétariat général gère tous les aspects administratifs et financiers des activités de l'Union et, à ce titre, fournit des services de conférence, des services informatiques, établit une planification stratégique à long terme et assume les fonctions habituelles propres à une entreprise (communication, affaires juridiques, finances, personnel et services communs).

Les manifestations de ITU TELECOM offrent aux entreprises du monde entier du secteur des TIC une plate-forme pour nouer des relations. Elles constituent pour les représentants des entreprises les plus renommées, tant publiques que privées - venus de tous les coins de la planète ou d'une région déterminée - une occasion de se retrouver en un même lieu, de se rencontrer, de nouer des contacts, de découvrir les toutes dernières technologies présentées dans les stands de l'Exposition et de prendre part aux débats sur de grandes questions d'actualité dans le cadre du Forum.

The second special issue of the ITU Journal: ICT Discoveries presents academic papers that offer insight into the increasing sophistication of techniques used to exchange and understand data, while also exploring how data can safely fuel more autonomous, human centric information and communication technologies. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the issue, it features contributions that add a deeper dimension to the discussion by looking at the policy, regulatory and ethical aspects involved in the increasing use of data today.

This report provides an update on progress towards the global targets of the ITU/UNESCO Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development and showcases the research and thought leadership of the Broadband Commission. It also provides a global snapshot of where the telecommunication/ICT industry stands with regards to fixed and mobile broadband deployment, affordability and usage, as well as the use of broadband for achieving development objectives. It will examine the use of new and upcoming technologies, such as 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT) for development.
