A very successful and illuminating mission to Armenia, which allowed me to meet many officials including Mr Serzh Sargsyan, the President; Mr Tigran Sargsyan, the Prime-Minister; Garegin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians; Mr Manuk Vardanyan, the Minister of Transport and Communications; Mr Armen Darbinyan, Rector of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University; and Mr V Shakhguildyan, President of the Board of Trustees of Moscow Technical University of Comunications and Informatics, and Chairman of ITU CoE-CIS Steering Committee.
