International Telegraph Conference (Paris, 1890)

16 May - 21 June 1890 - Paris, France

The regulations for the international service and the tables of international tariffs were revised and annexed to the International Telegraph Convention, St. Petersburg (1875) were revised at this administrative conference.

The International Bureau of Telegraph Administrations was asked to prepare an official vocabulary for correspondence in conventional language.

A system of delivering telegrams to a private address by telephone was introduced.
