SÁNCHEZ Jorge

​Mr. Sánchez Medina holds a J.D. from Universidad Externado de Colombia, a Degree Specialized Studies on Economic Law and a Certified Studies on Economical Assessment of Law, from the same University. Moreover, he has a Master of Laws - LLM - from Northwestern University of Chicago (United States of America), and a Certificate Business Administration - CBA - from IE Business School of Madrid (Spain). He serves as professor on Competition and Consumer Law at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Furthermore, he worked as staff attorney for the Constitutional Court and for the Supreme Court. In addition, he was advisor to the Legal Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia, and was attorney for the President of the Republic of Colombia on constitutional actions before courts. He was the Deputy Superintendent for Competition from 2007 to 2010, and as of today, he is the currently Deputy Superintendent for Consumer Protection.
