Mr. Raymond O. Estioko is a veteran central banker and technology specialist from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a holder of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Degree.
Mr. Estioko is currently tasked to work on strategic industry projects involving technology and innovations. He is the BSP’s lead person in the establishment of the country’s National Retail Payment System (NRPS), which aims to establish safe, efficient and reliable payment system. Prior to his new assignment, he was the Head of BSP’s Core Information Technology Specialists Group (CITSG) of BSP which is responsible for IT Supervision and oversight of payment system in the Philippines.
Mr. Estioko is an active participant to the activities of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), a global network of financial policymakers working together to increase financial access and services for the poor. Mr. Estioko was the 1st Chairperson of AFI’s Mobile Financial Services Working Group (2010-2012).
