Frederic Gittler is working as senior research engineer and architect at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories (HPLB). Frederic made his entire career in Hewlett Packard, both in the United States and in Europe. Frederic has developed products and solutions, delivered consulting, and participated to research in the areas of networking, security, large system architectures, and governance. Frederic has chaired the Steering Committee of the NESSI European Technology Platform from 2009 to 2011. Frederic has taken an active role in the construction of the architecture developed in the FP7 NEXOF-RA, BonFIRE and A4Cloud projects. Frederic has participated to several standardization activities, in particular he has authored parts of the OpenGroup Baseline Security Services CAE Specification (XBSS) and has addressed both ETSI and the ITU-T SG17.
