In August, Eileen joined Aetna’s Global Information Security (GIS) team as a director focused on mobile security. Previously, Eileen worked at a large US-based international bank for ~21 years in various technology organizations including their GIS team. She was a key lead and/or contributor for a wide variety of mobility efforts over the last ~18 years, since 1996. Eileen was part of different Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Emerging Technology and Innovation teams where she helped develop, deliver, secure, deploy and architect numerous key proof of concept, pilot and production implementations related to both internal and external facing mobility initiatives. Among those mobile efforts include the first employee facing iOS mobile app (Content2Go) which her team developed and deployed. Content2Go is still in production today with 3500 users and growing. Eileen created and led an enterprise-wide internal Mobile Solutions/Security Forum since 2010. The forum allowed teams to share mobility experiences across their respective areas and grew in membership to 410 employees. She graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with her Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Technology degree and completed coursework toward her Master of Science Computer Science degree. Eileen resides just outside Charlotte, NC with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she leads the Chess Club at one of her son’s schools and has also taught group fitness at the YMCA since 1994.
