Laura is a qualified Environmental & Sanitary Engineer of La Salle University in Bogotá and holds an MBA in International Business Management from UWIC University in the UK.
Amongst her experience in the environmental management industry Laura has participated in the development of the ITU Tool Kit For Sustainable ICTs as Co-writer of Chapter VII Sustainable E-waste Management. She has participated as speaker on relevant E-waste conferences in Geneva, Kenya and Germany, where the E-waste leaders share experiences and best practices towards developing solutions for Electronics Green design, sustainable use and final disposition.
Nowadays, based in Colombia, Laura actively participates on the local and regional initiatives for a better and formal electronic recycling industry in Latin America, from a legislative perspective for EEE. U-EEE and WEEE.
