Elisabeth Dechenaux has experience in environmental issues related to the design of electrical and electronic products with her team at Orange Labs in Grenoble, France. She has years of experience in environment and has conducted impact assessments and economic analysis on a wide range of issues covering environmental and energy policies. Her expertise includes LCA of goods network and services (set-top boxes, mobile phones, radio base station…), techno-economic analysis, product policy and eco-design. She has greatly contributed to the environmental eco labeling Orange project for mobiles phones with BIO and the WWF. From 1981 to 2000 she has been working as a research scientist, in the field of microelectronics etching and deposit with ST microelectronics and the LETI. As an expert in LCA she is engaged in several projects with industrial partners from different countries (OPERANET2, ADEME/AFNOR platform…) and in standardization with ETSI, UIT, GSMA and the European community.
