Masao Kojima is a Senior manager of Industry Standards Department of KDDI. He has attended SG2, WTSA12, TSAG and ITU-T CTO meetings. In the CTO meeting of November 2011, he and his colleague proposed the necessity of standardization on new disaster relief systems by using mobile service. After the establishment of Focus Group on Disaster Relief Systems, Network Resilience and Recovery, he has been positively contributing the matters of early warning and disaster relief. In the past 20 years, he had been involved in network operation and quality management. During that, he attended several SG2 and SG4 meetings and was an editor of two M series Recommendations. He had also experienced a lot of network operations during a variety of hazards conditions. The first main task during his job career was a development of restoration plan at large scale-switching failure.
