Dr. Rayapati, currently serving as the President & CEO and Founder of SAI Technology Inc. Prior to that he worked as a Vice President of Design Engineering for Chartered Semiconductor. He worked as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Xalted Networks, Inc., has over twenty five years of experience in Wireless, Telecom, Semiconductor industries. Before starting SAI Technology, Dr. Rayapati served as Chief Technology Officer at Lucent Broadband Group, responsible for the Lucent Stinger Broadband Access Product Development. He co-founded Portal Player, the first developer of fully integrated chipsets for digital music consumer products, such as Apple's iPod. Dr. Rayapati held senior technical positions at Nortel Networks, National Semiconductor (Chief Architect), and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Chief Architect of K6). He was Board of Director for Zarlink Semiconductor, DVS Systems and advisor to Mitel Systems etc. He holds Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer engineering from the University of Montreal. He was a visiting Professor at Berkley and UC Santa Cruz, taught Optical Communications and Wireless Communications Courses and conducted research in advanced wireless field. He has 35 International Publications in various Journals and Conferences.
