How to participate remotely

Meeting Details
Date: Monday, May 28, 2012.
Time: 09:30 to 17:00 JST (Japan Standard Time) (UTC+9)

Live Webcast
The meeting will be webcast using GoToWebinar with captions (live text transcript). All you need is a web browser with JavaScript and Java enabled.

GoToWebinar shows the presenters’ slides and documents that are being discussed. It also provides a two-way audio feed, live text chat and allows remote participants to ‘raise their hands’ to indicate when they want to make a contribution.

You must register in advance to use GoToWebinar.

Register at: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/234050696. You will receive an email giving full instructions for how to join the meeting.

To hear the presentations and make spoken contributions, GoToWebinar provides built-in VOIP which uses your computer’s speakers and microphone. Best results can be achieved by attaching a dedicated headset.

Before speaking, you should indicate that you want to make a contribution by clicking the ‘Raise hand’ button on the GoToWebinar control panel, as shown in the following screenshot. The Chair will then invite you to speak.
