​10:30 - 11:30Session 1: 4G & 5G/IMT-2020 Technologies

Objectives: This session will focus on the implementation of 4G, 5G/IMT-2020 technologies on the operators’ networks, including an overview of key 5G facilities which make new services (such as autonomous driving, tactile Internet, augmented reality, smart cities, etc.) more available for everyone.

​12:10 - 14:00​​Session 2: IOT Applications, from Standardization to Implementation

Objectives: This session will provide an overview of the new technologies of Internet of Things (IoT), including an overview of the international standards, IoT applications and new ICT products in the field of IoT.

In addition, this session will focus on combating counterfeiting using ICT/IoT technologies, including an overview of existing and emerging ICT solutions which may be used for identifying the genuine products.

​15:00 - 17:00Session 3: Interconnection of IP-based Networks and Internet Measurements

Objectives: This session will focus on the new principles of interconnection of IP-based telecom networks (such as 4G, 5G/IMT-2020) in terms of providing new services. Also, there will be an overview of current activities on Internet related measurements in terms of their importance for end-user.

Day 2, Thursday, 22 September 2016

​09:30 - 11:00Session 4: Conformance and Interoperability

Objectives: This session will focus on conformance and interoperability testing of ICT equipment in compliance with International standards, including an overview of ITU activities on the implementation of ITU C&I Programme. 

In addition, there will be an overview of global certification schemes to be used for different ICT technologies.
