ITU ACMA Regulators' Roundtable 2014

Beyond Convergence - the Networked Society​

​The 4th Asia-Pacific Regulators' Roundtable, organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) with support from the Department of Communications, Government of Australia aims to hold strategic discussion and information sharing amongst top level management of telecommunication, broadcasting and converged ICT regulators in an era of the networked society i.e., beyond telecom, IT and broadcasting convergence.  

​The objective of the meeting is to share real experiences, brainstorm on possible solutions to address emerging challenges anddiscuss potential collaboration. The Regulators' Roundtable will be followed by ITU-ACMA International Training Programme on Convergent Regulation Through First Principles Thinking from 23-25 July 2014 at the same venue. The Roundtable was attended by 55 participants from 24 countries.
