Atelier Collectivités Territoriales - Conseil national des télécommunications (CONATEL)
The Atelier Collectivités Territoriales was kindly hosted and organized by the Conseil National Des Télécommunications (CONATEL), the National regulatory body for Telecommunications sector in Haiti.
The conference aimed to review the principal issues affecting the Electronic Communications sector and CONATEL's actions plans. As part of the conference activities, ITU was invited to give presentations on ITU's Cybersecurity activities and on the ITU-EC-HIPCAR Project, of which Haiti is a beneficiary country.
The HIPCAR Project offered assistance to address the legal frameworks for 9 work areas on Information Society issues and Telecommunications matters in accordance with national, regional and international best practices.
