Second Stakeholder Consultation and Validation and Capacity Building Workshop on the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime (e-Crimes) Interception of Communications, and Electronic Evidence
 
The Second HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Workshop to adopt and validate the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime (e-Crimes), Interception of Communications, and Electronic Evidence proposed drafting instructions was held in Bridgetown, Barbados (5 September 2011), kindly hosted by the Government of Barbados, Telecommunications Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Trade and Commerce and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
 
The objectives of the Consultation Workshop were to review, adopt and validate the proposals for the reform of the aforementioned framework to facilitate harmonization in accordance with the HIPCAR Model Policy Guidelines and Legislative Texts.

The Second HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Capacity Building Workshop on Cybercrime, Interception of Communcations, and Electronic Evidence, kindly hosted by the Government of Barbados, Telecommunications Unit of the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Trade and Commerce and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project was held in Bridgetown, Barbados
(6 September 2011).
 
The Capacity-building / Sensitization Training Workshop aimed to raise awareness of the updated legal framework, the impact on e-Commerce and implications for the business sector and environment.

The Second HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Capacity Building Workshop on Cybercrime, Interception of Communcations, and Electronic Evidence, kindly hosted by the Government of Barbados, Telecommunications Unit of the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Trade and Commerce and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project was held in Bridgetown, Barbados
(6 September 2011).
 
The Capacity-building / Sensitization Training Workshop aimed to raise awareness of the updated legal framework and related methods, techniques & tools in relation to prevention of cybercrime and of lawful interception of communications as they pertain to law enforcement and police investigations.

The HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Workshop to review the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime (e-Crimes), Interception of Communications, and Electronic Evidence was held in Barbados (9–10 August 2011), kindly hosted by the Government of Barbados, Telecommunications Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
 
The objectives of the Workshop were to review the proposals for reform of the aforementioned framework to facilitate harmonization in accordance with the HIPCAR Model Policy Guidelines and Legislative Text.
 
The Capacity-building / Sensitization Training Workshop (8 August 2011) was aimed to raise awareness of the updated legal framework and ensure that roles and responsibilities were clearly articulated for those involved in implementing the legislative frameworks as well as on subjects selected amongst those covered by the updated legal framework.
