Projects and Knowledge Management Department (PKM)

The Projects Knowledge Management Department (PKM) is responsible for providing administrative and technical support in the formulation and implementation of projects, project monitoring and evaluation. It produces and disseminates timely statistical and analytical data on the ICT Sector and the Information Society and strengthens human and institutional capacities in ICTs. The Department also provides concentrated assistance to least developed countries, small island developing states, and landlocked developed countries.

Divisions:

Human Capacity Building Division:
Strengthens human & institutional capacities to seize the opportunities of the information society.

ICT Data and Statistics Division:
Collects, verifies and harmonizes the telecommunication/ICT statistics for about 200 economies worldwide.

Least Developed Countries, Small Islands Developed States and Emergency Telecommunication Division:
Provides quality and timely  delivery of assistance for the general socio-economic development of countries in special need through telecommunications/ICTs and implements activities and projects in the domain of emergency telecommunications, and climate change.

Project Support Division:
Facilitates and enhances projects related to information and communication technology by offering, organizing and coordinating technical cooperation and assistance activities.
