The objective of this Working Group is to align key stakeholders towards a formal commitment under the Universal Financial Access 2020 objective. The Group discusses approaches to achieve the "Universal Financial Access 2020", legal and regulatory frameworks and pilot implementation in selected countries, based on multi-stakeholder expressed commitments. The outcomes of the WG-DFI were reported at the 8th edition of the CRO meeting held on 12 July 2017 at Nassau, Bahamas, as a pre-event to the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-17).
