The ITU-D Special Initiative
“Children and Youth” includes an internship project allowing recent young
graduates in ICTs and related fields from Least Developed Countries (LDCs),
developing countries and countries in transition, to achieve work experience.
These young professionals are working on projects, producing case studies and
analyzing data, while being mentored by ITU staff either at Headquarters or in
the ITU Field Offices. This project aims to contribute to the challenges faced
by these youth in integrating into the working environment and provides
professional development opportunities.
