This Recommendation defines Big Data Reference Architecture (BDRA) that can serve as a fundamental reference point for big data standardization and which provides an overall framework for the basic concepts and principles of big data. The Recommendation provides a description of reference architecture concepts, two distinct viewpoints including user view and functional view, and also cross cutting aspects. Furthermore, the Recommendation addresses layering framework, functional components within framework and detailed functional descriptions for big data.
