This Recommendation provides an overview of trust provisioning in ICT infrastructures and services. It introduces necessity of trust to cope with potential risks due to lack of trust. The concept of trust provisioning is explained on the trusted ICT infrastructures and services. From the general concept of trust, the key characteristics of trust are described. In addition, the trust relationship model and trust evaluation based on the conceptual model of trust provisioning are introduced. Finally, it describes trust provisioning processes in ICT infrastructures and services. Details of potential risks and trustworthiness attributes, and use cases of trust provisioning are also provided in the informative appendices.
