This Recommendation provides a description of how the use of ICT can help sustain the agricultural sector in the event of poor yields or disasters triggered by climate change. The possible impacts of climate change on agriculture and farming communities are described. This is followed by an outline of what measures are needed to adapt the sector and how ICT can play a role in this. The Annexes share some examples of best practices in different countries with details of specific ICT implementations.
