Recommendation ITU-T L.310 (ex L.53) deals with optical fibre maintenance depending on topologies of access networks. It describes the fundamental requirements, maintenance section, testing and maintenance items, and methods for developing a suitable guide to maintaining point-to-multipoint and ring optical networks, respectively.
