Q.3726: Signalling requirements for acceleration resources orchestration in multi-access edge computing
Multi-access edge computing (MEC) faces limitations in resource constraints, virtualization overhead, and secure transport overhead, making it difficult to meet the SLA and QoS requirements of emerging applications. Network acceleration technologies can effectively improve forwarding performance but require coordinated orchestration of acceleration resources to fully deliver their benefit. This Recommendation specifies the signalling architecture, interfaces, procedures, and signalling requirements for acceleration resources orchestration.
