This Recommendation specifies the functional enhancement to support user plane computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond. It also describes the requirements, framework and procedures for functional enhancement to support user plane computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond, to meet the service requirements of users with lower latency, higher network and computing resource utilization and higher flexibility.
