ITU-T L.1004 was published in July 2025. At the meeting of ITU-T SG5 in June 2026, ITU-T SG5 received a liaison statement from SVC TD954, TD956, TD980 asking the following: · TD954: Consider using an existing definition of Sink, and If a new definition is required, move the example to a note. There are 2 identical terms already defined in: ITU-T I.610 (02/1999)/ITU-T M.2201 (03/2001): Term used to indicate that OAM information is removed (e.g. at the sink trail termination function) from the incoming signal for further processing.  Therefore, we agreed to keep the definition and move the example to a note. · TD956: Consider using an existing definition of Source and If a new definition is required, move the example to a note. Identical terms already defined in: ITU-T J.117 (09/1999): A device that produces or passes on OSD data. ITU-T T.137 (02/2000): The origin of a real time media stream. ITU-T H.274 (V3) (09/2023): A term used to describe the video material or some of its attributes before encoding. ITU-T I.610 (02/1999)/ITU-T M.2201 (03/2001): Term used, in the context of this Recommendation, to indicate that OAM information is added (e.g. at the source trail termination function) to the outgoing signal for further processing downstream (e.g. at the sink trail termination function). Therefore, we agreed to keep the definition and move the example to a note. TD980: Combine the definitions for ‘fast-charging mode’ and ‘fast-charging’ into a single one in terms of power and charging time and including examples of use in a note. Consider adapting the definitions for fast-charging protocol and fast-charging system accordingly. Therefore, we agreed to combine the definitions for ‘fast-charging mode’ and ‘fast-charging ‘and the definitions for fast-charging protocol and fast-charging system adapted accordingly.
