With the development of autonomous networks, it becomes essential to quantify the benefits brought by autonomous capabilities introduction through the measurement of effectiveness of autonomous networks. This can enable stakeholders to assess improvements in terms of autonomous network level of networks and provide guidance for the planning and design of autonomous networks. This Recommendation specifies the framework and requirements for measurement of effectiveness of autonomous networks in the context of future networks including IMT-2020.
