Recommendation ITU-T G.8052 contains the protocol neutral UML information model for Ethernet transport network (NE) management. The model is based on the Ethernet equipment functions specified in Recommendation ITU-T G.8021/Y.1341, generic management requirements in Recommendation ITU-T G.7710/Y.1701, and Ethernet specific management requirements in Recommendation ITU‑T G.8051/Y.1345. Amendment 1 aligns the UML information models in this Recommendation with the v5.0 of the ITU‑T Core UML information models defined in ITU-T G.7711 (2025).
