Recommendation ITU-T G.8023 specifies both the functional components and the methodology that should be used in order to specify the Ethernet physical layer and Flex Ethernet interfaces. Amendment 3 adds Appendix I to clarify the meaning of “[IEEE 802.3] processes”.
