This Recommendation specifies the functional architecture for distributed cloud based on high-level functional requirements in [ITU-T Y.3508], and functional requirements in [ITU-T Y.3526] and [ITU-T Y.3538]. This Recommendation also specifies the functions for distributed cloud and describes the relationship between the distributed cloud functional architecture and the cloud computing reference architecture defined in [ITU-T Y.3502].
