The Recommendation ITU-T Q.4105 specifies the signalling requirements for the feature-based video services that exchange feature about the video scene rather than transmitting fully encoded video data, through the hybrid overlay network specified in [ITU-T Q.4100]. The feature is used for reconstruct the video in the end point using artificial intelligence, such as generative AI. This Recommendation specifies signalling requirements for developing further protocol specifications for feature-based video services over hybrid overlay networks, such as video streaming, virtual conference, metaverse, etc.
