bDDN can provide the significantly enhancement to the network programmability in network control function, network infrastructure and network application. By using network programmability and intelligence of big data plane, bDDN can automatically adjust the network behaviour according to the user’s requirements and network status. This Recommendation specifies overview of network programmability for bDDN, functional requirements of network programmability and functional architecture of network programmability for bDDN.
