This Recommendation presents the motivations and principles for self-controlled identity based on blockchain in future networks including networks beyond IMT-2020. It provides the high-level framework and requirements of self-controlled identity based on blockchain. It specifies the capability requirements of the self-controlled identity based on blockchain accordingly in the context of future networks including networks beyond IMT-2020. Detailed descriptions of the use cases and business models are listed in the appendix.
