Recommendation ITU-T Q.819 defines a set of services required to support REST-based interfaces and along with Recommendation ITU-T X.785 composes a framework for REST-based network management interfaces. It specifies protocol requirements, and defines some network management-specific support services, which are notification service, heartbeat service, and containment service. The JSON/YAML interface definitions for the network management-specific support services are also provided.
