Eighth UNGIS Meeting — 14 & 15 May 2012

The eighth meeting took place on 14th and 15th May 2012 at the ILO Conference Center in Geneva, during the WSIS Forum 2012.
The eighth meeting of UNGISconsisted of a High-Level Segment that took place on the 14th May 2012, 11:00-12:00, and a Working Level Meeting that took place on 15th May 2012, 14:15-18:00 at the ILO Conference Center.
The UNGIS meeting provided an opportunity to advance the Group's objectives of coordination of substantive and policy issues facing the United Nation system in the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information society. Particular focus was directed towards the development of the Work Plan for the year 2012-2014
