The UAE shares its experience in accelerating its transformation into a True Digital Nation by providing key highlights of its ambitious goals & initiatives across various sectors.

UAE Digital Government: presents its Truly Digital Program calling out innovative enablers that will transform how services are delivered digitally end to end.

Ministry of Education: The MOE has embarked on an innovative and ambitious project of defining and implementing a complete ecosystem for education, which will target all administrative, teaching and learning activities, and will also include employees, students and parents. The Integration continues to target the Ministry, and its representative, in the ability to organize, monitor and control the full education process at all levels. Introducing enhancements to streamline, integrate and share data across core systems.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation continues to watch out for its citizens overseas around the clock and to be the link between them and the visionary leadership through all its departments, embassies and representative missions around the world. It adopted digital technologies to ensure work continuity through different projects and initiatives. 

Digital transformation is one of the main enablers in innovative initiatives in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Department of Municipalities and Transport presents the key initiatives and projects in digital transformation that contribute to improve the quality of life and to meet the community expectations by implementing smart initiatives in the Municipal and transport sectors

Join us in exploring the Total Experience Program, a program that developed and applied a reusable framework for enhancing governmental services. The first-ever governmental project of its kind in the UAE.

Dina Fares, working currently as the Acting Director General of the Department of Digital Ajman. Her expertise, proactive approach and hands on experience have set the trajectory for continuous successful completion and implementation of the Digital Transformation Plan of the Emirate of Ajman.

Dr. Omar Al Shaiba is the Executive Director of information technology affairs sector at Department of Municipalities and Transport. He is leads the digital transformation at Department of Municipalities and Transport and to striving towards empowering the information technology sector, which is one of the most important sectors supporting corporate work in Department of Municipalities and Transport.


H.E. Mr. Mohamed Husain Karmastaji
H.E. Mr. Mohamed Husain Karmastaji Executive Director of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Sector, Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) United Arab Emirates

Mr. Mohamed Husain Karmastaji is the Executive Director of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Sector at the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC). He supervises the digital transformation at ITC to create a sustainable and integrated transport system that is safe and sustainable. The Technology and Transport Systems Sector follows the latest technologies and innovative solutions to improve the quality of services offered to the public in order to facilitate their daily travel and improve the operational efficiency and competency of the transport sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.


Eng. Mohammed Al Khamis
Eng. Mohammed Al Khamis Director Development Department - Telecommunication and Digital Government Regulatory Authority United Arab Emirates Moderator

Mohammed Al Khamis is a Computer Engineer by training and is a Digital Government expert with over 16 year of in-depth experience in digital transformation and digital solutions and the ICT sector at large. He is the Director of Development Department at Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and was also appointed Program Director of the UAE Smart Government National Plan. 


Eng. Suaad Al Shamsi

Over the past 15 years Suaad has been working in digital transformation delivering national initiatives which require close collaboration between government on federal and local levels as well as private sector. Suaad is leading number of key initiatives defined in the national plan that have increased the government efficiency and effectiveness in delivering digital services and had a direct positive impact on the life of citizen such as Government Service Bus, Service Modernization (e.g. New Born Baby), and Digital Trust Platform. Suaad is actively engaged in Blockchain initiatives.


Mrs. Reem Al Tayer
Mrs. Reem Al Tayer Head of the Guidance and Orientation section, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation United Arab Emirates

Reem Al Tayer is the Head of instructions and guidance section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the United Arab Emirates. Reem has two master’s degree, the first is in media and communications from Wollongong university, Australia and the second master’s is in Diplomacy and International Relations from Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, UAE. Reem has more than 10 years’ experience and speaks four languages. Currently she’s responsible of developing services, initiatives and programs related to UAE nationals abroad.
