Exploring the history of the digital transformation in Qatar and the future of smart Qatar (TASMU), stating the biggest millstones and achievements in infrastructure, applications and e-services, as well as highlighting the support of technology on running the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Ms. Noof Al-Hadad

Noof Al Haddad is a projects coordinator at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology “MCIT”, working directly on the national digital transformation Smart Qatar (TASMU) Program . She is Mainly leading TASMU smart Environment sector, oversees the development of smart use cases. Also part of TASMU Innovation lab team, supporting in partnerships management. Al Haddad is presuming her Master’s in Strategic Business Unit Management at HEC Paris in Qatar.


Ms. Aljazay Saleh Rashid Al-Sulaiti

Al-Sulaiti currently leads QATAR e-Government Strategy development. With responsibility of supervising the implementation of Current e-government plans, in coordination with different government ministries. She also responsible for proposing the necessary legislation, policies and standards for Information Technology Sector in the country. 

 Al-Sulaiti brings 17 years of experience in the field of information technology and has a diverse background in both IT strategies and business models, with extensive experience in local culture, Organisational Change and latest technical trends.

Al-Sulaiti holds an Executive Master degree in Strategic Business Unit Management from HEC PARIS and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of QATAR.

During her career, she held various leadership positions in IT departments across different government ministries, including the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Social Development and Family ,and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry where she leaded several strategic projects in the country.


Ms. Lolwa Faraj J AL-Abdulla

Lolwa AL-Abdulla graduated from Qatar University in 2017 from the collage of Business and Economics, with Diploma degree in entrepreneurship, and BA in Marketing, with 2 years of studying IT in the college of engineering in Qatar University.

Being part of MCIT increased the IT knowledge and the opportunity of getting involved on the IT sector. AL-Abdulla was the handling the admin account of Oracle cloud in Qatar from 2019 tell 2021.

Strategic Leader with service oriented management approach to satisfy business technology users demands to create maximum business value gains and best return on investment.  Great executer and strong ability to deliver high quality systems while adhering to challenging deadlines. Proficient in IT contracts structuring, planning, negotiation; vendor relationship and performance management. Powered with strong and complex IT project management experience and skills. 

I joined SC in 2014 to lead the digital transformation and automation of all corporate business processes by implementing and developing state of the art technologies and applications from business analysis phase all the way to go-live and continuous improvements afterward. We have enabled all end users to perform their tasks remotely and digitally. This was a big success during the pandemic where all employees switched to remote work very smoothly.   

In the past 3 years, the focus has been on implementing technologies and applications to serve Host County teams and projects to perform their duties and responsibilities toward the FWC 2022.
