Harmonisation of the Digital Covid Certificate across Africa

Cooperation between EU and Africa on digital covid certificate

In the context of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, the EU has issued an open-source standard for the Digital Covid Certifcate (DCC) which, when correctly applied, facilitates international travel. This event will therefore present the EU’s open source DCC standard and our cooperation in its implementation across the African continent. Examples from different countries in their journey towards international recognition will also be presented.
