China has set a goal in achieving carbon neutrality before 2060. For many SMEs with relatively lower level of resource comparing to those big corporations, finding their parts in this transition has indubitably become a huge challenge. With the advance of digitalization tools, Chinese young entrepreneurs are exploring innovative solutions to better quantify, track progress and dissect their present goals with reference to carbon neutrality and further empower SMEs with their knowledge in sustainable governance.

Carbon Base is a technology company focused on carbon neutrality for businesses and consumers. The goal is to transform the energy conservation and emission reduction efforts of enterprises into the driving force for green consumption of users. Use big data analysis and other technologies to break the information barriers in the industrial chain from production to consumption, help companies seize the transformation opportunity of low-carbon emission reduction, and find new value investment targets for investors in the zero-carbon direction

Jacob and his boutique firm MSC is widely recognized as the pineer of sustainability consultancy in China. His consultancy career has suceeded with not only Forbes 500s' companies but also diverse local SMEs in China, Japan, Thailand and the UK. He was received by the formal prime minister of Thailand and hired as an advisor by the Cabnit of Japan. Jacob is taking MSC to ensure that sustainability efforts are anchored in business fundamentals and demonstrate a clear return on investment.
Mengda Group is a modern service-oriented enterprise focusing on the ecological services of the plasticization industry value chain. At present, the enterprise closely follows the national dual-carbon strategy and explores the construction of a new financial pilot of "green supply chain".

Zhipeng “Alex” Dai is currently working in the banking industry as an associate analyst. Regarding his previous experiences, he holds a dual Master’s degree in Public Policy with a specialization of sustainable development at Tsinghua University and Université de Genève. His main interests include sustainable governance, social entrepreneurship, and international strategic partnership in promoting sustainability.

Raymond currently works for WIT Energy, an energy technology company that is a part of the SAMOYA group. With its strong presence in the energy industry, the company has made great efforts in digitalization for facilitating sustainable transitions, particularly by seeking for solutions to reduce carbon emission. He acquired his master degree in public policy at Tsinghua University and University of Geneva, with a specialization in sustainable development. He is passionate in this goal in private sector with ICT solution.

Joanna is a WSIS Youth Campaigner and have been coordinating activities of the WSIS ICTs & Youth Track. A final-year student in International Relations in Geneva, she is passionate about Youth Empowerment and the role of ICTs in this process.
In the past, she has led GIMUN (Geneva International Model United Nations), a student-run NGO as VP, and co-founded Popaedia, an online media project aimed to bridge multicultural understanding.
