ITU Member States are encouraged to submit 10-Year Country Reports on Implementation of the WSIS Outcomes based on the templates that were agreed by multistakeholder consensus during the WSIS+10 Plenary Sessions held during the WSIS Forum 2012.

WSIS Stocktaking: Call for update and new entries 2014

WSIS stakeholders are encouraged to continue to contribute to the WSIS Stocktaking process, undertaken in support of the WSIS Implementation and Follow-up. The principal role of the this exercise is to leverage the activities of stakeholders working on the implementation of WSIS outcomes and to share knowledge and experience of projects replicating successful models.

WSIS Project Prizes 2014

WSIS Project Prizes is a unique recognition for excellence in the implementation of WSIS Outcomes. The contest of WSIS Project Prizes 2014 is organized into four phases to be held from 5 September 2013 until 13 April 2014. 18 winners will be honored, recognized and presented with award during a Prize Ceremony at the WSIS+10 High-Level Event.

WSIS+10 Targets Questionnaire

The Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development, through the UN Regional Commissions, the OECS and UNCTAD, sent out the WSIS Targets questionnaire to WSIS focal points to collect date for the indicators identified to track the WSIS Targets. The results of this questionnaire will be used as input to the final 2014 WSIS assessment report and all countries are encouraged to respond to this questionnaire.

WSIS Forum 2013 - Identifying Emerging Trends and Innovation in the ICT Ecosystem.

WSIS Forum 2013 will be held from 13 to 17 May 2013 and will provide structured opportunities to network, learn and to participate in multi-stakeholder discussions and consultations on WSIS implementation. This event builds upon the tradition of annual WSIS May meetings, and its new format is the result of open consultations with all WSIS Stakeholders.

Towards Knowledge Societies for Peace and Sustainable Development.

The WSIS+10 Review Event addressed the major challenges in building Knowledge Societies for sustainable development. This first multi-stakeholder review event took a look at the WSIS Action Lines' achievements, and analyzed recent developments as well as forecasts. Recommendations were also made to the post-2015 process.
