AI for Good Innovate for Impact

expanded healthcare reach to marginalised populations, improved patient outcomes through
early detection and remote interventions, empowerment of local caregivers with AI support, and
a reduction in overall healthcare delivery costs over time. This comprehensive approach seeks
to provide scalable, context-aware healthcare with minimal reliance on physical infrastructure,
fundamentally changing how healthcare is accessed and delivered in underserved communities

                      22 Benefits of use case

This use case is impacting directly by complementing mobility infrastructure with AI-supported
6G-V2X networks to deliver secure and frictionless autonomous vehicle communication. Using
AI in transport infrastructure delivers predictive maintenance, real-time tracking, and optimal
route selection for vehicles, which renders roads and highways efficient and productive. In
addition, the deployment of AI-backed communication further enhances safety features to
reduce accidents and facilitate innovation within the transportation sector.

V2X enabled by AI assists in the development of sustainable cities by reducing traffic congestion
and smart use of public transport infrastructure. AI-enabled intelligent traffic management
ensures free flow of cars, including autonomous cars and networked vehicles, reducing
stoppages and maximizing urban air quality. In addition, AI-enabled V2X provides access by
optimizing routes in public transport and emergency vehicles, leading to improved lives for
                      city dwellers.

Traffic streamlining through AI lowers carbon prints directly by stimulating energy-saving
driving styles, fuel conservation, and vehicle emissions reduction. AI-induced vehicle platooning
contributes towards fuel efficiency and environmental deterioration by coordinated driving. AI-
induced live monitoring of auto emissions can support cities in applying sustainable measures
in enforcing policies according to environmental legislations. With intelligent mobility solutions
empowered by AI, this use case makes a key contribution to enabling the environment to
become cleaner and greener while not sacrificing transportation systems' efficiency and security
                      within urban and highway environments.

                      23 Future Work

                      Future works will extend to

                      • Expanding coverage to more rural and underserved regions
                      • Incorporate mental health and maternal care modules
                      • Develop multilingual voice assistants for accessibility
                      • Interactive Explainability Dashboards: For clinicians to explore “why” behind alerts and
                           tweak sensitivity
                      • Federated Feedback Loops: Feedback from clinicians in real-world settings can fine-tune
                           and validate explanation quality.
                      • Integrate with national health databases and emergency alert systems
                      • Explore a partnership with telecom operators for optimised service delivery
                      • Pursue validation studies and regulatory pathways for clinical acceptance
