22 Benefits of use case 4.7: Education
CherryPot makes high-quality math education accessible to all students, regardless of their
geographic location or socioeconomic status. By leveraging AI to provide personalized,
process-level feedback and automated grading, our platform delivers a level of educational
support that was once limited to students with access to expensive private tutors or advanced
academic resources. During the COVID-19 era, we also collaborated with various government
ministries to launch diverse initiatives, further expanding our impact. This allows for more
equitable learning opportunities and helps close the achievement gap.
Our AI grading system ensures consistent, unbiased assessment of student work, helping
reduce disparities in educational evaluation. Our AI model provides equal treatment for all
students, regardless of background. Additionally, the affordability and scalability of our solution
allows under-resourced schools and regions to benefit from the same high-quality feedback
as well-funded institutions.
23 Future Work
• Data Collection and Model Improvement: Continuously gather data to boost accuracy,
adaptability, and quality, while harnessing a virtuous cycle where teacher reviews are
systematically fed back into model improvements.
• Multilingual Support: Extend the AI model to support multiple languages and
mathematical symbols used in different countries, enabling global curriculum coverage.
• Advanced Learning Dashboard: Provide detailed student analytics to help educators track
progress, identify learning gaps, and receive AI-generated instructional suggestions.
• Offline Mode Development: Develop an offline-compatible version of the platform to
support students in regions with limited internet access, such as parts of Africa and other
underserved areas.
3 Use Case Requirements
• REQ-01: It is required for users to register and complete the authentication process.
• REQ-02: The system should support various student inputs, including handwritten image
uploads, typed text, and scanned paper submissions.
• REQ-03: The system should support real-time processing capabilities in order to deliver
immediate feedback to students and teachers.
• REQ-04: The system should support educator-side interfaces for reviewing AI grading
results and providing manual overrides when necessary.
