2 Use Case Description
21 Description
Providing high-quality math education requires frequent, process-level feedback to help students
understand not just what they got wrong, but why. However, in public education settings where
one teacher is responsible for many students, delivering this level of personalized feedback
consistently is extremely challenging. As a result, such detailed support has traditionally been
available only through costly private tutoring, making it inaccessible to many.
To address this challenge, we developed proprietary AI models that recognize students’
handwritten math solutions and analyze their problem-solving processes. Unlike most digital
learning platforms that focus solely on final answers, CherryPot analyzes each student’s full
problem-solving process to provide detailed, process-level feedback, tailored follow-up
questions, and personalized learning paths. For teachers, we support partial score assessment,
reducing repetitive grading tasks and allowing them to focus more on instruction. By delivering
high-quality, individualized feedback at scale and at a lower cost, we help close educational
gaps and ensure equitable access to quality math education, regardless of geographic location.
CherryPot supports students from Grade 3 to Grade 11 and is accessible across a range of
devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and PCs. Students can submit their work by taking
photos (mobile), writing directly on the device (tablet), or typing (PC). We support a variety of
curricula, including Korea’s national curriculum, U.S. state-specific standards, and international
curricula such as IB and IGCSE.
Our platform is a school-proven solution, trusted by over 190 public schools across Korea.
Usage data shows meaningful academic improvement among students after just one month
of engagement. To extend our impact globally, we are now conducting pilot programs with
schools in the United States.
Use case status:
• Deployed and scaling globally
• Proven success in real-word educational field, used in 190+ public schools in Korea
• 4000+ active users
• Pilot testing underway in U.S. public schools
