Content Credentials are based on C2PA's open technical standard and used to establish digital
asset provenance and authenticity. The specification is designed to support the emergence
of a global ecosystem of provenance-establishing applications to meet the needs of a wide
range of individuals and organizations. The specification is also designed to meet appropriate
security and privacy requirements and help uphold human rights.
