Abstract :

This contribution proposes that the ITU conduct the bidding process for hosting ITU conferences and assemblies via a Request for Proposals (RFPs). It highlights some considerations for key elements of RFPs and proposes next steps to finalize bidding processes and procedures by the 2026 session of ITU Council.
