Abstracto :

This document is submitted in response to the request from Council, as reflected in Document C25/84. Council requested improved clarity and transparency with respect to the existence and coherence of IT, data/information and AI strategies, the alignment of IT architecture with ITU's strategic orientations, governance arrangements and accountability mechanisms for digital and data management, the management of digital risks, and visibility over the portfolio of digital solutions and IT projects supporting the transformation of core business processes. In that context, Council instructed CWG-FHR to elaborate a concept clarifying and strengthening IT and data/information governance and requested the Secretariat to provide information and prepare a report covering the strategic, organizational and governance aspects of IT and data/information management across the Union.
